As a Loan Officer Assistant, you will be the behind-the-scenes powerhouse, supporting the Mortgage Loan Originator, through everything from application to closing. This is a great opportunity to start from scratch, learn the ropes of mortgage lending, and grow into your next big role. The goal of this role is to graduate you to an MLO after 90 days.

*Average commission earnings of $120k+ as an MLO.

Here’s What You Will Do:

  • Study for the NMLS exam.
  • Learn from the best by listening in and shadowing Mortgage Loan Originators.
  • Support MLO’s by making initial contact and follow up with potential clients
    Conduct high-volume outbound calls to generate new business.
  • Assess applicant eligibility by conducting interviews and gathering financial information.
  • Manage borrower interactions to streamline application completion and document
    verification.
  • Advise clients on the right products based on their credentials.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and other referral sources to generate new
    business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Coachable, receptive to feedback and willing to make changes to improve performance.
  • Strong phone skills, being able to make several outbound calls in a day.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong mathematical skills with the ability to analyze financial data accurately.
